Researching property in Dubai is hard when every number comes with a sales pitch attached. We built a team to fix that: people who have worked in Dubai real estate, mortgages and data, and who would rather show you the real figure than the flattering one.
Everyone who writes for HomeSearch works to the same standard, sources traced back to the Dubai Land Department, claims checked by a specialist, and a name on every guide so you always know who is accountable for what you read.

Registered Property Valuer
Karim Nasser reviews HomeSearch.ae guides for factual accuracy before they are published. He has eleven years in Dubai real estate, first handling transfers at a DLD-approved registration trustee office, then in residential valuation. He is registered as a valuer with Taqyeem, the Dubai Land Department's Real Estate Appraisal Centre, and works to the Emirates Book Valuation Standards. Registration requires the Taqyeem course and examination and is held through a RERA-certified valuation firm. His review covers three things: that every figure matches the Dubai Land Department record it cites, that the legal and procedural steps reflect current RERA rules, and that nothing reads as advice a licensed professional would not give in writing. Layla Haddad has worked in Dubai residential property since 2013, advising buyers and investors across Dubai Marina, Downtown Dubai and Business Bay. She spent her first six years on the secondary market before moving into off-plan, and now splits her time between end-user purchases and yield-driven investment briefs. She holds a Professional Practice Card issued by the Dubai Land Department through RERA, with a Broker Registration Number (BRN) that appears on every listing she handles. The card is renewed annually, and she qualified through the Dubai Real Estate Institute brokerage course and the RERA Brokers Examination. Most of her work is with buyers making their first Dubai purchase, which shaped how she writes: start with the registered transaction data, then explain what it does and does not tell you. Layla covers off-plan payment plans, service charges, rental yields and the mechanics of transfer at the DLD. Every figure in her guides is traced back to a DLD record.
